Nikki Maxwell is a middle school student who is just starting the eighth grade at Westchester Day School. She’s not a rich or popular girl so she hides fro their cruelty by becoming a Library Shelving Assistant at school library. She wanted to join an art competition but is driven away from that due to Mackenzie, the new girl who’s popular. In order to win a trip to New York her and the other girls in the library devise a plan to create tattoos about reading. Will this plan bring Nikki to New York for National Library Week? Will she ever come popular?
